Our Story
Founded in 2025 in Karachi, Lyca Technologies was born from a simple observation: while the world was rapidly digitizing education, many Pakistani schools were still managing everything on paper, struggling with outdated systems, or paying excessive amounts for international software that didn't understand local needs.
Our founding team - a mix of software engineers, educators, and AI enthusiasts- came together with a shared belief: Pakistani schools deserve better. We spent months researching, visiting schools across Karachi, and understanding the real challenges administrators and teachers face daily.
What we discovered was eye-opening. Schools needed more than just digitization - they needed a partner who understood fee voucher systems, local examination patterns, parent communication preferences, and the unique dynamics of Pakistani education.
